Placing Orders

Orrefors is the perfect choice for employee awards, corporate gifts, sales incentives and so much more! We are able to facilitate B2B orders of any size and are able to ship thousands of gifts to multiple addresses.

NO minimum order purchase is required.

Orrefors Kosta Boda accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express. Upon credit approval, Orrefors Kosta Boda can accommodate billing terms of net 30 days.

Minimum turnaround time on rush orders is three business days (72 hours) of receipt of etching information and approval. Rush charges will be minimum $35.00, $200 maximum, plus expedited delivery charges where applicable

Etching is done on glass by using a sand-blast process which is much far superior to other engraving processes. Our engraver ensures that the etching is the finest quality and captures the detail of your artwork with sharp crisp lines.

Deep etching is a cut into the glass about 5x deeper than surface etch. Please note that certain text or artwork may not be suitable for the deep etch process.

Color fill is paint added to a deep etching to create a vivid effect and enhance the imprint on the item. Available colors are: Gold, Silver, Black, White, Blue, Red, and Green. Color fill is additional $10.00 per item.

All orders should be accompanied by artwork in an acceptable format. Camera ready artwork is required for etching logos and specific artwork. Artwork must be supplied in high resolution at least 300 dpi EPS, AI or PDF file in sharp, black and white art. Web artwork, .doc (Microsoft Word), are not acceptable file formats.

To insure excellent artwork, it can be defined by pixels and can be scaled to any size without distortion. The artwork remains sharp at any resolution.

For a clean neat message, do not use all caps in Apply Chancery, Park Avenue or Shelly Volante Script. For engraving with a lot of text Helvetica or Apple Chancery in lower case are best. Bold, open fonts work best for deep etching.

Art services may be incurred for font searching and matching. A fee of $60 per hour ($30 minimum) may apply for alteration of existing artwork or to produce originals such as logos, crests, shields, etc.

Names of all fonts used in the art file is needed when submitting the order. If a font is not available, we will substitute our closest etchable font.

All orders will be sent proofs via e-mail for approval. To ensure on time delivery of your order, proofs must be approved within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to approve within 48 hours may result in delivery delays, expedited shipping charges and rush order charges. All changes must be received via e-mail or fax. Numerous proofs or changes after approval may incur an additional fee.

Packages are shipped UPS and fees are added to invoice unless you provide your UPS acct information. Common carrier truck shipments as well as air freight services are available. All shipments are subject to dimensional weight charges.

We can ship to International locations using your UPS account or third-party account. An additional $20.00 service fee will be applied.

Drop ship direct to your customer add an additional $7.50 per drop ship address. Drop ship fee is added to the invoice. Names and addresses must be supplied in Microsoft Excel format.

Cards can be inserted in the shipping carton for an additional fee. Call customer service for quote.

Returns of blank merchandise is subject to 15% restocking fee.

Returns are not accepted without prior return authorization.

Engraved products are not returnable.

Orrefors Kosta Boda carefully packages all shipments to ensure safe arrival. In the unlikely event of breakage in transit, please follow the below steps:

  • Open immediately upon receipt and inspect all contents.
  • Report the damage within 48 hours to Orrefors Kosta Boda customer service department at 1-800-443-4167.
  • Include a photo of the damaged items.

All pricing includes deep etch and one location.

Orrefors Kosta Boda guarantees all workmanship to be first quality. Our Orrefors crystal traditional awards are packaged in beautiful black gift boxes with satin lining with Orrefors logo.

Most of our offerings are hand crafted, it is natural for slight surface variations such as size, shape or color.

Standard production time is two weeks from the time we receive artwork approval. Plus shipping time. Large quantity orders may require a longer processing time.
