Cut In Number

With Cut In Number, Swedish designer Ingegerd Råman has applied Orrefors’ tradition of cut glass as a starting point, but with a contemporary approach. The collection is stepping away from the traditional polished cuts, leaving them matte instead, which emphasize the transparency of the clear glass. When the light meets the crystal and those carefully positioned lines, it becomes clear that mathematics also can be poetic.

Cut In Number consists of four cylindrical objects: two bowls and two vases, which come in two different cut patterns. The collection was first launched in 2021.
