The Swedish stemware designer Erika Lagerbielke continues in her own footsteps, from her breakthrough with Intermezzo, into the future with austere and elegant Metropol. The collection has the same sense of mystery as Intermezzo, with the sealed drop, but paired with another approach to color and style. The straight lines call modern city living to mind, in addition to the name Metropol. The collection includes glasses for champagne, red and white wine, and beer. There is also a coupe, tumbler, and a carafe that works equally well for water as for wine. The collection launched in 2017.
