With Sarek, Lena Bergström has taken detailed influences from her childhood memories in the north of Sweden and designed a collection of bowls, a vase, and a candle holder. The cut facets on each item resemble the motif on wooden baskets made of plaited birch bark, which is traditional to the area where the designer grew up and has a clear connection to Swedish nature. The collection was launched in 2017 and designed in collaboration with the Volvo Cars Design Team.
